I grew up writing stories. Growing up in Edmonton, Alberta, my parents taught me early how powerful stories could be. My favorite childhood pastimes were wandering the shelves of the local library and curling up on the couch with a good book. To this day, I seldom leave the house without a book in my purse, just in case. I live in the suburbs of St Louis, Missouri, with my husband and three wild and imaginative boys. Somewhere between practices, scout meetings, and home life, I still create worlds and tell stories through writing. I pride myself on raising readers and surround myself with too many books to count.

Professionally, I have been an administrative professional since graduating with a Computer Office Specialist certification in 2001. My work has taken me through corporate sales, volunteer non-profit, and public education. This wide variety of experience has made me a strong editor with a complex understanding of the different needs of different settings. I also do a lot of beta and ARC reading with a soft spot for indie authors!
